Mission Guild Ministry

Mission:

The Mission Guild ministers and serves our congregation and community who are sick and shut-in through prayer, Bible study and outreach. We meet as required to plan activities for Second Baptist Seniors and shut-ins. For information and times of meetings, contact the church office or check the church Teller each Sunday.

Activities:

Make telephone calls
Make home, hospital and nursing home visits
Send birthday cards and notes of encouragement to shut-ins
Deliver season baskets for Valentine’s Day, Easter and Thanksgiving
Send Christmas cards and $2 dollar bill
Sponsor the Christmas lights tour
Sponsor annual Senior Picnic
Sponsor Senior Recognition Day
