Four ways of becoming a member of Second Baptist Church

  1. Baptism: When a person is baptized by immersion in water he accepts Christ as his Lord and Savior.
  2. Letter from a Sister Baptist Church: This letter attests to the fact that the person has been baptized by immersion in water and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
  3. Personal Statement of Faith: For a person who is not a member of another Baptist Church but who has been baptized and confesses to salvation and obeisance of Christ.
  4. Watch care: A Baptist who has relocated to the local area may become a temporary member of the church and confesses to salvation and of Christ. Watch care members are not encouraged to vote during planning meetings.
